Hey! God knows why you wanted to learn more about me 'cuz you probably came to this site for RENT purposes. But, oh well! Youre here now, so why not learn more...My name is Christy if ya haven't figured that one out already. I live in a city about 20 minutes away from San Francisco. I turned 17 in June, and I'm a senior in high school. A REALLY crappy high school. So I'm glad I'll be leaving soon :)

I've been a dancer since I was 5. Sooo...basically all I want to do in life is perform. I wish I had the voice to try out for RENT...but I would be so intimidated by everyone else there. My voice is pretty soft & not too strong. :( Oh well...I'm thinking about taking singing lessons but I don't think I'll be able to find the time. ANYWAYS, I dance for my school...and I would act, too. But I really don't like the plays that my school puts on. I HATE plays that take place in, like, the 40's and stuff. They are soo boring to me...and that's all my school ever seems to do. So I'm outta luck :(

Ummm...my obsession with RENT is very obsessive ;) Not a day goes by where I dont listen to it, or watch the videos I have of it. There's almost never a time when I am singing anything but RENT. I read the Rent book religously =P I might add that it cost me $38 for the book...but WELL WORTH IT!! Anyway, you get the point. I love rent :) Can't wait till the Angel Cast comes to San Francisco...and I'm SO happy it is an open-ended run!! It's gonna be here for years!! YAY! How lucky am I?? ;)

I also have to brag that I saw RENT in London this summer. YES, I saw Adam, Anthony, Wilson, and Jesse!!! I cant put into words how seeing them made me feel...they are all SOOO awesome.

One more thing...my favorite person from rent is defenitely, without a doubt, Jesse L. Martin (collins). LOVE his smile. My gosh...doesn't matter what kind of mood I am in. If I see a picture of him smiling...his smile is SO damn contagous!! I cant help it, I have to smile too. And his voice is like...the most beautiful sound. *sigh* Oh and umm...contrary to what you might be thinking...I'm not obsessed!! I dont obsess over stars. I would not cry at the sight of him. Although I would probably run around and make an ass out of myself in another way...but I'm not an obesessed stalker/fan!! I just think he's great, talented, SO good looking...and everything else that's good!! :)
